Mini Herd Mornings
(Ages 2 - 5)
Mini Herd Mornings run each school term at Mama Tree Farms, offering a consistent weekly rhythm of calm, nature-based pony sessions for children aged 1.5–6.
​
Each week is guided by a new "spark"; a theme or idea that gently weaves through pony interactions, sensory play, and creative exploration. These sparks give children a sense of variety and wonder, while the familiar session structure provides comfort and security.
Led by an experienced teacher and psychology student, the program nurtures connection, creativity, regulation, and a love of nature, all under the fig tree in our peaceful Kangy Angy farm setting on the NSW Central Coast.
Homeschool Groups
(Ages 5 - 12)
Our homeschool groups offer a slow, nature-based learning rhythm designed for curious children who learn best through doing, noticing and wondering.

Sessions are held outdoors on the farm and blend animal care, nature exploration, creative projects and shared responsibility.
Children are supported to build confidence, collaboration skills and independence while engaging in real-world learning experiences that unfold organically rather than through rigid instruction.

Groups are kept intentionally small, with qualified teachers facilitating each session. Learning is guided by children’s interests and seasonal changes, with space for social connection, gentle challenge and meaningful contribution.

These groups are best suited to families seeking a values-aligned alternative to traditional classroom settings, where learning feels grounded, purposeful and connected to the world around them.
Holiday Herd Sessions

Holiday Programs at Mama Tree Farms are a playful, nature-immersive school holiday session for all ages.
Blending wild-hearted fun with emotional grounding, the program invites children into a world of pony encounters, creative nature play, and hands-on farm exploration.
Each session is thoughtfully designed by a qualified teacher to spark imagination, foster social-emotional skills, and honour the rhythms of the land.
Birthday Celebrations​

Celebrate your child’s special day with a slow and magical farm celebration.
Our birthday sessions bring children together for a nature-based celebration under the fig tree, blending gentle pony interactions, sensory play, and creative nature activities with the beauty of the outdoors.

Each gathering follows our familiar Mama Tree rhythm, calm, child-led, and full of wonder, while weaving in birthday rituals that make the day feel special.
Families are welcome to bring a picnic or cake to share, and we provide the space, the ponies, and the playful magic to create memories that last.
